This NG group took matters into their own hands
In the NTNU school in Norway, all the new students get greeted with “Fadderuka”, a period of time at the beginning of the school year filled with different activities that different student groups have planned. These activities tend to be a bit rough in the area of alcohol and drugs. The New Generation group in NTNU wanted to change that and took matters into their own hands.
They arranged a game night with bowling, painting, and other fun activities without drugs and alcohol. The group said that the initiative went great and that it was much easier for the students to connect and build relationships. They also explained that they found it easier to discuss the big questions in life with everyone who attended.
